By accessing or using the RecruitSafe platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation.
RecruitSafe is a recruitment management platform designed for UK education settings, providing tools for job post management, candidate tracking, shortlisting, interview scheduling, pre-employment checks, Single Central Record maintenance, document management, and audit logging.
Access requires a user account created by organisation or system administrators. You are responsible for maintaining credential confidentiality and all activities under your account.
You agree to use the Service only for managing recruitment processes in education settings. You must not use it for unlawful purposes, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious content, or share credentials.
Each organisation acts as Data Controller. Responsibilities include ensuring lawful processing, providing privacy notices, responding to data subject requests, configuring retention periods, and reporting breaches.
The Service supports compliance with statutory safer recruitment guidance but does not constitute legal advice. Organisations remain responsible for full compliance with all relevant legislation.
Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to upload documents, that documents are free of malicious content, and that storage complies with retention policies.
Optional integrations (such as Google Calendar) are subject to their own terms. You may disconnect integrations at any time through Settings.
All IP rights in the Service are owned by RecruitSafe. You retain ownership of data and content you upload.
We use reasonable endeavours to ensure availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The Service is provided "as is". RecruitSafe's total aggregate liability shall not exceed fees paid in the preceding twelve months.
You agree to indemnify RecruitSafe against claims arising from your use of the Service or breach of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of Terms. Upon termination, you should export required data before access ceases.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and RecruitSafe.
